ABC'nD Enterprises is an educational consulting, training, therapy, and resource firm committed to enhancing the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder by developing and applying effective therapies, instructing parents and professionals, and working to enrich the children's home environments and relationships. We employ an eclectic and developmentally appropriate perspective based on research and using effective programs such as: Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped children (TEACCH), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Floor Time (Greenspan), and Conscious Discipline (Bailey).

We provide a variety of services including training, materials dissemination, technical assistance and consultation. Our mission is to assist in the sucessful implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act by helping individuals, organizations, businesses, local governments and agencies understand their rights and responsibilities under the ADA.

The goal of Easter Seals services is to help people live as full and independent lives as possible, right in their own communities. In Missouri and Kansas City, our focus is on early education and care. We are in the process of developing a supplemental education program to help children at the earliest ages become long-term and confident and successful learners.

The Epilepsy Foundation of St Louis has an active grassroots advocacy network where consumers effect change in the social service delivery system at the local, state, and national levels. Development of services are provided by individual advocacy and systems advocacy.

First Steps Pediatrics serves as a community Help-Line for families and agencies in the St. Louis area. To achieve a comprehensive program of services, First Steps Pediatrics employs specialists in all fields of therapeutic and support services to assure clients the help they need to lead full and productive lives. First Steps Pediatrics' commitment to its clients is to achieve the best possible results for each individual served.

Giant Steps of St. Louis, founded in 1994, provides an integrated program of intensive therapeutic intervention and educational support to school-aged children with autism spectrum disorder. Parent support groups meet regularly. The mission of Giant Steps of St. Louis is to empower children with autism spectrum disorder to participate fully in all aspects of life, including home, community and education.

Mission: To improve the quality of life for persons with developmental disabilities across this entire age span by 1) promoting community inclusion, community membership, independence, productivity, and social participation; and 2) promoting high quality and effective community-based services and individualized supports for persons with developmental disabilities and their families.

The LAW OFFICE OF W. CHRISTOPHER HODGE provides disability advocacy and legal services to disabled adults and children through out all of Western-Missouri. Representation before the U.S. Social Security Administration may include the Eastern-Kansas.

MoCAN stands for "Missouri Community Advocates Network". MoCAN creates teams of dedicated, trained volunteers to go out into all avenues of the community, from schools to businesses to churches to state departments to service providers.

IMPACT is a statewide parent training and information center serving all disabilities. Our mission is to ensure that all children with special needs receive an education that allows them to achieve their personal goals. Parent centers in each state provide training and information to parents of infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and young adults with disabilities and the professionals who work with their families. This assistance helps parents participate more effectively with professionals in meeting the educational needs of children and youth with disabilities. Parent centers are funded by the U.S. Department of Education, under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)

MO-FEAT provides resources, supports, parent-professional education and advocacy for families and the autism community in Missouri. MO-FEAT is an organization of parents and professionals throughout Missouri, with headquarters in St. Louis. This FEAT chapter was incorporated in 1997 as a Missouri not-for-profit corporation.

The Missouri Alliance for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities is a statewide volunteer organization consisting of individuals with developmental disabilities and family members of people with developmental disabilities. Our mission is "to assist the community to include all people
with developmental disabilities in every aspect of life."
