ABA Consulting Services LLC offers a wide variety of applied behavior analysis services, including: School observations, functional behavior assessments, and IEP support and advocacy. We promote a focus on language and errorless teaching and learning through a combination of discrete trial training and natural environment training/natural language training. We also provide ongoing consultation to maintain an ABA program as well as four models of consultation available to assist you with your home program needs in applied behavior analysis.

Adult Continuing Education for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (ACED) offers adults the opportunity to attend non-credit classes in an educational and social environment. The ACED program is designed to teach independent living skills and provide life-enhancing experiences. ACED is offered by the UMKC Institute for Human Development, a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, and Metropolitan Community College-Longview, with funding from the Jackson County Board of Services.

Family First Center for Autism and Child Development provides a range of therapeutic services and training opportunities to support children with autism and their families. Our goal is to help all children to reach their fullest potential.

We offer a 3700 square foot facility where we are able to provide one-to-one therapies, social skills groups, family and professional training opportunities. In addition to individual therapy rooms, the facility also includes a large bathroom, kitchen area, observation room, and a large recreation room, allowing for flexible therapy programs to address the many unique needs that children with autism may face.

Dr. Bubenik is a general dentist who does all types of dental procedures and especially welcomes autistic children and adults. Behavior/desensitizing programs have been very successful. Autistic patients will not be turned away or discriminated against! (Dr Bubenik has two children with autism himself)

All areas of development (speech/language, physical, social/emotional, etc.) are addressed through games, songs, and interactions with adults and other children. Before Kindermusik, Miss Brenda taught special education and helped families implement behavior plans in the home.

I represent parents in IEP meetings, due process, developing 504 plans, employment discrimination, and civil rights for the disabled.

Logos School is an independent, alternative, therapeutic middle and high school in St. Louis. We are dedicated to assisting students and their families with academic and emotional needs which have not been met in the traditional classroom.

The Division of Special Education has responsibility for assuring that children with disabilities receive a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment. Division staff provide training, technical assistance and monitor special education services provided by public schools and state-operated programs. The Division is also responsible for managing the flow of state and federal dollars for special education programs.
