The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is a team of dedicated individuals working for the continuous improvement of education and services for all citizens. The division improves the lives of persons with developmental disabilities through programs and services to enable those persons to live independently and productively. In 1988, the division began participation in the Medicaid home and community-based waiver program, designed to help expand needed services throughout the state.

The mission of Missouri Assistive Technology is to increase access to assistive technology for Missourians with all types of disabilities, of all ages.

MoCAN stands for "Missouri Community Advocates Network". MoCAN creates teams of dedicated, trained volunteers to go out into all avenues of the community, from schools to businesses to churches to state departments to service providers.

MO-FEAT provides resources, supports, parent-professional education and advocacy for families and the autism community in Missouri. MO-FEAT is an organization of parents and professionals throughout Missouri, with headquarters in St. Louis. This FEAT chapter was incorporated in 1997 as a Missouri not-for-profit corporation.

The Missouri Alliance for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities is a statewide volunteer organization consisting of individuals with developmental disabilities and family members of people with developmental disabilities. Our mission is "to assist the community to include all people
with developmental disabilities in every aspect of life."

MPACT is a statewide parent training and information center serving all disabilities. Our mission is to ensure that all children with special needs receive an education that allows them to achieve their personal goals.
