We are a support group located in Yellowstone county. We provide education, information and support for families with members on the Austism Spectrum.

Strengthen families to promote the development and well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities or who are at risk for developmental delay.

The mission of DEAP is to provide community-based services that strengthen individuals and families by supporting them in maximizing their skills and abilities and enhancing children’s development and care.

We provide life skill classes for children, teens and adults. We provide learning and healing through equines. Horse are our co-teachers and we teach horse and barn care and safety along with our life skill classes. Groups are designed to be a minimum of 2 hours to provide a break for parents. The director is a parent of a 15 y.o. boy with Aspergers.

Mrs. Ettleman is a certified provider of Interactive Metronome therapy and does consulting/coaching in DIR/Floortime therapy.

IDEA PTA is a coalition of parents and professionals who advocate for quality education and services for students and individuals with special needs.

Montana CAAN is a parent driven organization that is committed to supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Our mission is to provide support, build community, create compassion and awareness, and to advocate.

Welcome to the Montana Division of Special Education web pages. The Division of Special Education has responsibility for assuring that children with disabilities receive a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment. Division staff provide training, technical assistance and monitor special education services provided by public schools and state-operated programs. The Division is also responsible for managing the flow of state and federal dollars for special education programs. We support schools in their efforts to adopt exemplary teaching practices that lead to improved teaching and learning experiences for children with disabilities.

To support the vision of inclusion, the Montana Center on Disabilities, a public service unit of Montana State University Billings, collaborates with campus, regional, state and national programs in support of increasing the number of leaders with disabilities.
