ASMC provides residential and community support services for people with Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury and other developmental disabilities. Residential services include group homes and Alternative Family Living (AFL). A full range of clinical supports are available when needed. These include Psychology, Speech and Language, Nursing, Dietary and Social Work. In the event of an emergency, supervisory and nursing staff are available 24-hours a day.

Camp Sky Ranch serves developmentally and mentally disabled individuals of all ages, from all over the world. Children and adults with Down Syndrome, Prader-Willie Syndrome, ADD/HD, Fragile X Syndrome, and Autism attend our camp each year. We cannot accept campers with severe behavior or emotional problems. Campers must possess expressive and receptive communication skills and must exhibit behavior that is appropriate for group living. They must be ambulatory, able to dress and feed themselves, and be able to take care of their toilet needs.

The Autism Society of North Carolina (ASNC) Summer Camp Program is a residential summer camp for individuals with autism, ages 4 to adult. The summer camp program provides a week of typical camp activities, such as swimming, hiking, boating, and arts & crafts, in a structured environment. Campers are supervised closely at all times; many counselors are assigned only one camper per week to ensure maximum attention.

Non-profit corporation dedicated to creating a community of competent communicators. Our summer camp uses a highly structured daily routine combining language development with literacy, music, movement and fun! Weekly themes integrate daily activities, including literature, snack, centers, individualized therapy, music, science, language development and outside play. Accommodations such as visual cues and graphic organizers help children understand information in order to participate in the curriculum. High teacher to staff ratio allows us to assist children with individual learning needs and styles. Children with high-functioning autism and related disorders may benefit. WAFAC is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization founded in 2005,whose purpose is to raise awareness about autism locally and among the non Eglish speaking community. Our support group is very diverse and we are mothers of children from 13 different countries. We are working hard for our project to be called " Escape Zone" a recreattion and fun center for children with autism and their typical peers,to be open 7 days a week.
