The Arc of Orange County works with and for people who have or are at risk for developmental disabilities to promote full participation in areas of life in our community. The Arc seeks to accomplish this through advocacy, education, and collaboration, as well as through provision of quality supports to individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and the community.

The Arc of Stanly County, Inc. is a private non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with mental retardation and other disabilities so that those individuals can reach their dreams.

The Autism Society of North Carolina is committed to providing support and promoting opportunities which enhance the lives of individuals within the autism spectrum and their families.

We are and ABA treatment program for Autism. Our Program director is a BCBA and all Autism services will be overseen by a BCBA. In addition to our Autism services we will be able to provide assessments and treatment plans on a on a sliding scale fee. We will offer parent support and training in groups and/or on an individual basis as well.

Butterfly Effects, the behavior change company, provides individual therapy services, courses, staffing, software, systems to individual clients, school systems, universities and clinics. Team members are experts in Learning Disabilities, Severe Problematic Behaviors, Language Delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

North Carolina Endorsed Targeted Case Management and Coummunity Support agency for children and adults with special needs. We provide diagnostic assessments and assist families in applying for state supported service. Carolina Comprehensive Services focus is person-centered growth and development through a variety of professional and community resources. We offer periodic family trainings in Sign Language, Picture Exchange Communication System, Verbal Behavior, and Behavioral Modification.

The TEACCH mission is: To enable individuals with autism to function as meaningfully and as independently as possible in the community;
To provide exemplary services throughout North Carolina to individuals with autism and their families and those who serve and support them;
As a member of the University community, to generate knowledge; to integrate clinical services with relevant theory and research; and to disseminate information about theory, practice, and research on autism through training and publications locally, nationally and internationally.

Easter Seals UCP North Carolina is a statewide non-profit organization that provides supports and services to over 15,000 North Carolina residents with disabilities and their families. Easter Seals UCP’s three major focus areas are Child and Family Services, Accessible Living and Employment.

Since 1980, The Exceptional Children’s Assistance Center (ECAC) has grown from an all volunteer parent organization to a full service Parent Training & Information Center serving families in North Carolina with more than 25 full and part-time staff and offices throughout NC. All services are provided at no charge to parents and families.

Educational/disability law.

The Epilepsy Foundation is the national voluntary agency solely dedicated to the welfare of the 2.7 million people with epilepsy in the U.S. and their families. The organization works to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and to prevent, control and cure epilepsy through research, education, advocacy and services. In addition to programs conducted at the national level, epilepsy clients throughout the United States are served by local Epilepsy Foundation offices in nearly 100 communities.

Foundations 2 Transitions, LLC is a developing company with the intent of serving all individuals with Autism and the needs of their families, based upon the needs recognized by our starting members and in partnership with the families that may contact us. At this time we are working toward meeting needs for pre-K/school-age children/adolescents
but hope to grow and offer early intervention and adult assisted living.
We recognize that the needs of individuals with Autism and their families are very unique and that
specialized services are required.

The Learning Disabilities Association of North Carolina (LDANC) promotes awareness of the multifaceted nature of learning disabilities. We support equitable opportunities for people with learning disabilities to participate in life's experiences. LDANC seeks to accomplish this through education, support, advocacy, collaboration and the encouragement of ongoing research.
