My name is Tiphani Slone and I am currently an ABA/VB Consultant/Therapist. I am proficient in Discrete Trial, Direct Instruction, Augmentation Communication and much more in order to provide the best teaching method for children with autism and have over 10 years experience in the field. I attend IEP meetings; provide inclusion, 1:1 therapy, group therapy, social activities and also behavioral intervention. I also provide staff(therapists), as well as train current staff. I am available in the Charlotte/Gastonia/Fort Mill and surrounding areas in NC. I work directly with parents and include them in the development of their child's program. We provide services that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual with an autism spectrum disorder and their family. Services available include diagnostic evaluations to determine whether or not an individual has an autism spectrum disorder; parent teaching sessions to help parents address specific issues that their children with autism spectrum disorders present, education and training in the form of workshops for parents, teachers, and other professionals focusing on characteristics of autism and intervention strategies, consultation services to programs such as schools or agencies serving individuals with autism, supported employment services for individuals with autism spectrum disorders who are transitioning from school to work, and early intervention home services for parents who have children who may be at risk for autism spectrum disorders. |
