We are pleased to announce that we currently accept Medicaid. We do not accept private insurance at this time, however some insurance companies will cover our services as an out of network provider. Because all insurance plans are different, not every insurance policy will cover behavioral health services. Contact your private insurance carrier for more information.

This is a curriculum-based supportive program for parents who are struggling with a psychiatric disability. The program offers encouragement, support, advocacy, and parenting skill building (provided through the Families Facing Solutions curriculum). It also assists the families with coordination of services and provides linkages with alternate community programs that benefit all family members. The focus is on family strengths and preparing the family to face possible disruptions while remaining together.

Our classes are located in the beautiful surroundings of The Stables at Las Praderas on See Off Mountain Road in Brevard, North Carolina. Our students are referred to us by therapists, physicians, special education teachers and parents. Riders are under the guidance of certified and registered riding instructors. Free Rein is an operating center of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA).
