Dayspring Medical Center, established in 1990 by Larry A. Pearce, MD is a unique practice dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care in an inspirational setting. We specialize in making well-researched, scientifically documented treatments available to our patients frequently well in advance of the rest of the medical profession.

The founder, Dr. Pearce, is board certified in Neurology and Pain Management. His long experience in caring for patients with chronic conditions and chronic pain led him to develop a treatment philosophy that combines traditional medical protocols with natural healing, including nutrition, physical therapy, and psychological counseling.

The Center for Autism & Psychological Services, PLLC specializes in the assessment & treatment of children & adolescents with or at risk for Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our goal is to provide the most comprehensive & quality-based services in an efficient and friendly environment, keeping in mind that parents and caregivers play a pivotal role in a child’s success.

We are pleased to announce that we currently accept Medicaid. We do not accept private insurance at this time, however some insurance companies will cover our services as an out of network provider. Because all insurance plans are different, not every insurance policy will cover behavioral health services. Contact your private insurance carrier for more information.

Evaluation Center

Easter Seals UCP North Carolina is a statewide non-profit organization that provides supports and services to over 15,000 North Carolina residents with disabilities and their families. Easter Seals UCP’s three major focus areas are Child and Family Services, Accessible Living and Employment.

Evaluation Center

This is a curriculum-based supportive program for parents who are struggling with a psychiatric disability. The program offers encouragement, support, advocacy, and parenting skill building (provided through the Families Facing Solutions curriculum). It also assists the families with coordination of services and provides linkages with alternate community programs that benefit all family members. The focus is on family strengths and preparing the family to face possible disruptions while remaining together.

The Epilepsy Foundation is the national voluntary agency solely dedicated to the welfare of the 2.7 million people with epilepsy in the U.S. and their families. The organization works to ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and to prevent, control and cure epilepsy through research, education, advocacy and services. In addition to programs conducted at the national level, epilepsy clients throughout the United States are served by local Epilepsy Foundation offices in nearly 100 communities.

The Exploring Autism website is the collaborative effort of Autism Genetics Cooperative, a group of researchers and clinicians working with the help of families with children affected by autism to find the genetic causes of autism. This web site is underwritten by the National Alliance for Autism Research, the first nonprofit organization in the U.S. dedicated to funding and accelerating research into the causes, prevention, treatment and cure of autism spectrum disorders.

F.I.R.S.T. is a nonprofit family driven organization dedicated to helping persons with disabilities to live included, productive lives as members of the community by supporting and educating families to be their child's best advocate and youth to be self-advocates.

Providing resources, referrals and supports to families who have children with Special Needs. Counties served includes: Anson, Lee, Harnett, Hoke, Montgomery, Mooore, Richmond and Scotland

Diagnosis and evaluation

Our classes are located in the beautiful surroundings of The Stables at Las Praderas on See Off Mountain Road in Brevard, North Carolina. Our students are referred to us by therapists, physicians, special education teachers and parents. Riders are under the guidance of certified and registered riding instructors. Free Rein is an operating center of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA).
