The Anne Carlsen Center for Children offers a rich tradition of residential, therapeutic and educational services on one campus, located near the scenic James River in Jamestown, N.D. Our individualized services include care for children and young adults coping with cerebral palsy; orthopedic, vision and hearing impairments; autism, pervasive and other developmental disorders; and many other medical challenges. We nurture individuals with physical, mental and health impairments through creative combinations of special education and training, therapy, supportive medical care and, above all else, the unconditional love, understanding and sense of belonging every child longs for and deserves. |

The North Dakota Family to Family Network is a support network based on the philosophy that parents who have successfully adapted to their children's disabilities or special health care needs, are the best support for other parents of children with special needs. The Family to Family match provides emotional support and understanding, shared experiences, and support in accessing resources. It is designed to be broad based, to serve children with all types of disabilities and special health care needs and their families, and accommodate the needs of families in rural environments. |
