The Autism Society of Nebraska's Mission is to advocate, educate, support and create awareness for autism and to support families and individuals in the state of Nebraska who face Autism.

The Early Childhood Training Center links experts across the state with those programs or agencies who request training on a wide variety of topics related to early childhood and family development. Trainers are current practitioners with demonstrated expertise--teachers/caregivers, teacher educators, program administrators, health professionals, psychologists, social workers and therapists--who bring their skills and knowledge to local communities to share with those working directly with children and families. Training is developed and tailored to meet the needs of each audience.

Support organization

Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities programs provide long-term, graduate level interdisciplinary training to health professionals . The purpose is to develop leadership potential to improve the health status of infants, children, and adolescents with or at risk for neurodevelopmental and related disabilities and to enhance the systems of care for these children and their families. The program focuses on health conditions of mental retardation, neurodegenerative and acquired neurological disorders and multiple handicaps. All LEND Programs operate within a university system and most have collaborative arrangements with local university hospitals, children's hospitals, and/or health care centers.

Consulting, training in various therapies, customized learning tools

The mission of PTI Nebraska is to provide training, information and support to parents in Nebraska who have a child birth through twenty six with special needs. Resources are provided for parents, other family members, school personnel and interested others.
