Angelfish Therapy -- created by two highly experienced OT/PT professionals -- gives children with sensory processing and motor coordination issues a fun, challenging, and highly motivating environment in which to work on their therapy goals, through adaptive aquatics, swim lessons, and summer camps.

Animals for Autism provides supportive access to information and services for families living with Autism in Upstate NY. We actively support the use of Animal Assisted Therapies and Activities not only for those living with Autism but for all who may benefit.

ARTS Rx has open registration for our new 8 week Creative Arts Therapy Group Series for NYC children with special needs on Sundays, beginning March 20, 2011. Our Sunday program runs for 2 hours and 15 minutes and includes Art, Music and Dance Therapy Groups.

The Creative Arts are enjoyable and provide a non-threatening medium where unique outcomes are possible. We offer an integrated approach that combines hands-on creative arts experiences through the modalities of art therapy, music therapy and dance therapy with best-practice interventions to address treatment goals such as: Social Skills, Coping Skills, Communication, Sensory Integration, Attention Span, Self Esteem, and Developmental Growth.

Backyard Sports offers special needs children the opportunity to play on a sports team. We have a 1-to-1 environment, and developmentally appropriate sports training. Social skills and group cooperation are emphasized, and each child is given an appropriately challenging experience with their personal coach.

Camp Ramapo is now in its 83rd year of caring for at-risk youth and children with special needs. More than 3,000 children have benefited from our nationally recognized programs this year. We serve children with:

Our summer camp is ideal for youth who require increased structure and supervision. The program is focused on the development of positive social and self-help skills, forming productive relationships, and having fun in a safe and well cared for environment.

We have a 1:1 camper to counselor ratio and offer three summer programs, each designed for a different age group: Early Adventures (4 to 6 years old), Summer Adventure (6 to 13 years old), and a Teen Leadership Program (14 years old and above). We enroll campers on a rolling basis and fees are set on a sliding scale.

Emerge & See is an education center integrating ABA, DIR/Floortime, and TEACHH concepts into individualized academic and social programs for children and young aduts (4-21) with Autism, ADD, LD, OCD, and other developmental differences.

Our mission is to incorporate love of learning, trust of self and the community, and respect into a fun and developmentally sound educational program for students with developmental differences.

The PATH Family Center is a community center where we welcome your family. We provide fun activities for your children and educational workshops and nutritional advice for parents. We also have Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and biomedical interventions available for children diagnosed with Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Food Allergies and other related conditions.

I am an independent educational consultant, working nationally in schools and service organizations that support individuals with autism and related disabilities. I have also initiated, designed and directed specialized school programs for young people with autism spectrum and related conditions. I am a nationally recognized speaker and contributor to the educational and service provision sectors. I have been employed and contracted to develop and supervise school and support programs for individuals with autism and related conditions of all ages. My work in creating self-advocacy curricula and training workshops has been featured in the New York Times and The Guardian. Today I sit on the national board of the Autism Society of America and have two books forthcoming in 2009.

I offer support in program, staff development and administrative development in organizations that serve individuals with developmental disabilities.
