Camp HASC is the award winning summer program of the Hebrew Academy for Special Children. Located in the scenic Catskill Mountains of upstate New York, Camp HASC provides over 300 mentally and physically handicapped children and adults with the opportunity to enjoy a seven week sleep-away camp experience, just like many of their siblings and friends.

Camp Huntington was established in 1961 as a privately owned residential summer camp for boys and girls (6-21yrs.) with hidden abilities. We serve campers with Learning and Developmental Disabilities, ADD/HD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Apsperger's, PDD, and other special needs.

Camp Huntington is a co-ed, residential, seven-week program for children and young adults with a variety of special needs. Our program is designed to maximize a child's potential and develop their strengths and hidden abilities. We offer a unique program approach we've developed: Adaptive Therapeutic Recreation. Your child will enjoy the fun-filled days of summer camp while learning practical life skills. All our activities are instructional in nature. Our activities are designed to stimulate a child's awareness and interest in their environment and in relationships, while building their confidence, self-esteem and growth towards independence.

Camp Northwood is oriented toward children with low self-esteems, learning challenges and attention deficit disorders in need of a structured supportive summer environment.

Camp Ramapo is now in its 83rd year of caring for at-risk youth and children with special needs. More than 3,000 children have benefited from our nationally recognized programs this year. We serve children with:

• Asperger’s, Autism, and similar Pervasive Developmental Delays
• Attention Deficit Disorder
• Learning Disabilities
• Emotional and Behavioral Problems

Our summer camp is ideal for youth who require increased structure and supervision. The program is focused on the development of positive social and self-help skills, forming productive relationships, and having fun in a safe and well cared for environment.

We have a 1:1 camper to counselor ratio and offer three summer programs, each designed for a different age group: Early Adventures (4 to 6 years old), Summer Adventure (6 to 13 years old), and a Teen Leadership Program (14 years old and above). We enroll campers on a rolling basis and fees are set on a sliding scale.

Clover Patch is a summer camp for individuals with disabilities where each camper is encouraged to reach his or her fullest potential. Since 1965, Clover Patch Camp has provided individuals with disabilities opportunities to make new friends, create everlasting memories, and experience a genuine camp setting.

This camp offers a specialized service. Overnight services. Ages served: 8-18 and 18 and up.

Enable enhances the quality of life for people with developmental or physical disabilities through an array of services.

Kid Esteem is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the emotional and social vitality of children, families, schools and communities. We accomplish this by offering a variety of programs, workshops and classes that focus on the development of emotional intelligence, social skills, self-esteem, behavior management and family life skills. We also provide training for teachers and students on integrating these concepts into the academic curriculum, creating an essential learning tool that engages a fundamentally more powerful learning process.

Ages served: 7-adult; This camp offers a specialized program; Overnight services; Our Mission is to care for and nurture the spiritual needs of young people and adults by providing a safe environment for retreat programs, collaborative experiences, and personal growth. Owing to the tradition of Marcellin Champagnat we aspire that all involved will recognize their own self worth and develop a lifetime commitment to Christian Values.

The Mosaic School, a private Long Island school for students with autism, offers an eight week or six week summer camp at its beautiful school facility. Children ages 5 -- 18 are invited to apply. The philosophy of the camp is that children with autism, like their non-disabled peers, should be able to enjoy the summer without losing important behavioral, academic or social skills. To that end, we offer a program that is not only highly individualized, but is rich with activities designed to promote continued growth and development during the summer months. We stress the continuation of applicable behavior plans, while continuing to develop social and communication skills. Highly competent staff work with students in areas such as academics, pre-vocational skills, functional and ADL skills, orrecreation/leisure skills, as identified by the student's parents and current educational team. Many opportunities for practice of current and new skills are provided, on location and in the community, and through the varied and interesting field trips taken through the summer.

Shema Kolainu - Hear Our Voices is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the appropriate educational opportunities for children with autism based on applied behavior analysis (ABA), through the development of schools, inclusion and vocational programs, consumer advocacy and community outreach.

Home based evaluations and services for children birth to three years of age diagnosed with PDD/autism or other developmental delays. All our services are provided by state licensed or certified professionals at NO COST to families.

Enriching the lives of children with developmental disabilities and their families in a fun, creative, and welcoming environment.
