ADA-OHIO is a state wide non-profit organization that provides information, technical assistance and training about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to individuals, businesses, state and local government agencies or municipalities. Anyone who has a question about the ADA is encouraged to call our office.

Our agency is an established healthcare agency providing MRDD Supported Living Services to children and adults with developmental delays. We offer services under Ohio's Level 1 and IO Waivers,Core services,and CareStar services. We are also available to provide skilled nursing services inconjunction with, or seperately from the services listed above.

Diagnostic Services: Children’s Hospital offers a multi-disciplinary diagnostic clinic. We offer the services of Developmental Behavioral Pediatricians, Psychologists that specializes in MR/DD services, Speech Therapists, and Autism Resource Coordinators at one appointment to ensure that families receive comprehensive, high-quality care within one appointment.

Columbus Children’s Hospital also offers diagnostic & cognitive testing through Psychologists that specializes in MR/DD services to help rule out or confirm autism spectrum disorders or assist with recommendations for children previously diagnosed. Additionally, school & behavioral assistance appointments are available.

Treatment: Columbus Children’s Hospital has an Intensive Behavioral Intervention Clinic to provide individualized ABA programs for children 2- 11 diagnosed on the autism spectrum. We also provide individualized services for children of school age & children diagnosed with Asperger’s.

Other Services:
Columbus Children’s Hospital has a staff of Autism Resource Coordinators that help navigate families through the systems—both within the hospital & within the community.
They assist families with finding funding & resources for services within the community. They keep families & health care providers informed of new developments in funding, advocacy & treatment and provide community education & outreach.

ASK is a private consulting agency that specializes in a modified ABA approach to working with individuals with autism. ASK uses a variety of curricula to implement learning in all areas of development, including play, socialization, academics, self help, leisure, recreation, communication and daily living skills. The center for autism at the Cleveland Clinic is a multi-faceted service provider for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and like conditions. The Center offers a full day year-round intensive applied behavioral program for students from earliest diagnosis to age 22 years. The center currently serves 74 full- time students and will accomodate up to 100 full-time students as its state of the art facility is completed in 2008. The center's intensive behavioral early childhood program offers tiered levels of instruction and low ratios. The Center's school program provides intensive communication, behavior academic, social and career development services. The outreach program provides in-home behavioral programming, consultation and training. Diagnostic and medical assessment to the pediatric autism community is also available.The center conducts research in autism treatment.

D&E Counseling Center is a comprehensive behavior health treatment organization specializing in child, adolescent and family care. D&E Center has provided services since 1970. As a child adolescent behavioral health care provider we work with those up to their 18th birthdays.

The department of developmental pediatrics at Dayton Children's offers a variety of diagnostic and treatment services for children with developmental problems. Dr. Kasten and Dr. Amisola focus on services for preschool-age children (age 5 years and under) with developmental delays, including language, cognitive, motor or social. Dr. Pascoe provides services to school-age children with issues related to learning difficulties and delays.
