The Achievement Centers for Children is a non-profit organization providing servcies and support for children with special needs and their families. We specialize in services for children on the Autism Spectrum. Our services include education, therapy, mental health services, social work and recreation.

The Board of MR/DD provides services and supports to more than 8,000 boys and girls and men and women in Cuyahoga County. The community knows us best for our early childhood centers, schools, adult activities centers and group homes, but we're much more than that.

Our full range of services includes everything from in-home early intervention programs for very young children and their families to leisure programs for seniors. Much of what we do goes beyond the walls of our own centers and homes and takes place in the community, where we encourage individuals with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and play.

Summit Academy Schools address the academic and social needs of students with Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, PDD-NOS, High Functioning Autism and non-verbal disabilities. Currently (June 2008) there are 27 schools in Ohio serving around 1900 students. Schools in Ohio are non profit 501 (c) (3) and tuition free to families.

Edu-AT-Tech is a private consulting firm that specializes in Assistive Technology for ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis), and play therapy approach to teaching children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, cognitive delays and other developmental disabilities.The mission Edu-AT-Tech is to provide educational and intervention services with assistive technology to children with learning disabilities and their families; to apply best-practice, research-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) procedures to enable individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, cognitive delays and other developmental disabilities to become productive participants in home, school, and community settings.Picture

I am an Early Intervention Specialist trained in ABA, Floortime, and other education/assessment tool areas. I have five years of experience working with children who have Autism, PDD, PDD-NOS, and Aspergers. I have worked at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism (2 1/2 years) and was the EI Specialist and Coordiantor for the Ashland Co. Board of MRDD. My resume is available upon request. I am looking to work with families in their homes, community, and classroom depending on the needs of the family.

The Childhood League Center provides educational and therapeutic services committed to serving children ages birth to age 6 with developmental delays. All services are provided at no charge to the families.
