Adams-Hanover Counseling Services, Inc. provides behavioral services (primarily TSS, MT, BSC, and outpatient therapy) to children and families in Dauphin, Cumberland, Perry, York, and Adams Counties. In Hanover, the Amazing Kids Club is an autism center which provides specialized daytime and after school programs.

ASDTogether has been founded by a mother of three young children one of whom is on the autism spectrum. The organization has been started to help address the social and recreational needs of whole families that are living with autism spectrum disorder.

We have a family retreat camp scheduled for two nights near State College, PA. We will be offering a CF/GF diet and volunteer assistance for each family. The link to the retreat center is on the website.

Other events will be scheduled as the organization evolves.

Serves ages 5-21. Camp Lee Mar is a private residential special needs camp for children and young adults with mild to moderate learning and developmental challenges, including but not limited to the following: mental retardation, developmental disabilities, down syndrome, autism, learning disabilities, Williams Syndrome, Asperger Syndrome, ADD, Prader Willi, and ADHD.

The Watson Institute Summer Program, Camp WISP, is an inclusive therapeutic summer camp program for children with autism and related disorders.

Camp Locations in Mercer County, Butler County, Beaver County, West Moreland County, Washington County and Allegheny County.

Specialized group therapy prgram servicing children and adolescents with ASD. Groups focus on improving and practicing social skills, play skills, life skills, communication skills.... Offers Preschool, afterschool, and summer camp programs.

Children's Choices will be offering two sessions of programming during the summer months of 2006. All programs will run both a session I and II camp to ensure opportunities for a multitude of ages.

Community Psychiatric Centers is a full-service mental health agency, owned and operated by Dr. Robert A. Lowenstein, M.D. and Dr. John Carosso, Psy.D., with offices in Monroeville, East Liberty, Mt. Lebanon, Greensburg, New Kensington, Monessen, and Leechburg, and Carmichaels. C.P.C. offers wraparound services with a specialization in treating children in the autism spectrum, as well as outpatient counseling and medication management.

I am providing a 6 week camp to children with autistic spectrum disorder. The camp is being held at a local pre-school, privately owned and insured. I am a certified educator, with specific training in autism. I will be providing instruction, fun activities, socialization, life skills, arts, music and fun! TSS are welcome to join the child. Hours are 10 am-3 pm, with before and after camp care available by an attached, licensed day care.

Easter Seal Central PA provides a completely loanable library of books, videos and toys for people living with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The center includes internet-enabled computers and a make and take communication board station. The center also features telepresence service to meet with leading experts in research and treatment from around the globe.

We provide behavioral support and ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorders and their families.

At Epona Unlimited we provide Hippotherapy and Therapeutic Riding to individuals who live at all parts of the Autism Spectrum. We are also able to provide mainstream horseback riding for siblings, relatives and caregivers in need of the healing and balancing power of horses. Sessions offered year round at our indoor riding arena in Pennsburg, PA.

Equi-librium is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to empower individuals with special needs to reach their highest potential through horse-related activities. Equi-librium provides a variety of services using the movement of the horse and the natural eqiune environment to create functional change for individual with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges. Specialized programs for those with autism are provided in one-on-one and group sessions.

The Vanguard School offers a six-week ESY program for students, ages 6 - 21, with ASD who qualify for extended school year services on their IEP. The program balances academics with enrichment activities that focus on self-regulation and social skills training and support.

Camp Crossroads - Where the Road to Independence Begins!


Camp Crossroads is for children ages 4-17 on the Autism Spectrum or that have a similar diagnosis. The child must possess basic communication skills (of any mode), basic self-help skills, and a foundation of safety awareness. They also must be non-aggressive to others, and cannot have a history of elopement.

The children in session 1 will meet at the Indiana YMCA on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:15AM-3:15PM. The children in session 2 will meet at the Indiana YMCA on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15AM-3:15PM.

Children will be divided into three groups, according to age / school grade (in 2008-09):

Camp Discover (Grades K-2)
Camp Adventure (Grades 3-5)
Camp Counselors in Training
(CIT's, Grades 6-8)

Camp Crossroads aims to be a unique inclusion camp for children with Autism and related disorders.

Camp Journey, proudly offered by Family Behavioral Resources, is for children ages 5-13 with Autism Spectrum Disorders or a similar diagnosis. Candidates for the camp should possess basic communication skills (of any mode), basic saelf-help skills, and a foundaiton of safety awareness. They should be non-aggressive and cannot have a history of elopement.

Children at the camp are broken into two groups: Ages 5-8 meet Tuesday and Thursday from 9AM-2PM, while ages 9-13 meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9AM-2PM.
