Socialization skills through drama & music. classes for ages 3 through adult, and a full range of ability levels.

ASDTogether has been founded by a mother of three young children one of whom is on the autism spectrum. The organization has been started to help address the social and recreational needs of whole families that are living with autism spectrum disorder.

We have a family retreat camp scheduled for two nights near State College, PA. We will be offering a CF/GF diet and volunteer assistance for each family. The link to the retreat center is on the website.

We're a special needs camp for kids and adults with developmental disabilities: mental retardation, autism, brain injury, and neurological disorders. Located near Philadelphia, Camp Joy's year-round recreational services include Summer Camp and Weekend Getaways.

Keystone Pocono Camp strives to provide for their campers the opportunity for social, emotional, and physical growth within the shelters of a protected environment where effort is recognized as achievement and where failure also is supported through instruction and learning.

Camp Lee Mar is a private residential special needs camp for children and young adults with mild to moderate learning and developmental challenges, including but not limited to the following: mental retardation, developmental disabilities, down syndrome, autism, learning disabilities, Williams Syndrome, Asperger Syndrome, ADD, Prader Willi, and ADHD.

June 20-24, 2011. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Camp R.O.C.K. is a inclusive day program specifically designed for youth ages 14 to 21 with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their peers. The camp focuses on introducing youth to a variety of lifelong physical activities, while building recreational and social skills. These physical activities include: music and movement, track events, hiking, low and high ropes course activities, rock wall, aquatics, biking, canoeing, horseback riding, and fishing. The majority of programs are held on Slippery Rock’s campus with a few field trips.

Camp Sequoia is an overnight summer camp for children ages 8-17 who need help with social skills. Located on the beautiful campus of the Hill School in Pottstown, PA (40 miles northwest of Philadelphia, PA) our innovative program utilizes Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking® framework to help campers build their social thinking skills through a traditional camp program. Camp Sequoia is filling an unmet need in the overnight camp market for children who do not need the level of support offered at special needs overnight camps yet need more than a traditional overnight camp can offer.

Most of our campers are diagnosed with ADHD, mild Asperger's syndrome, high-functioning autism or learning differences which effect social cognition. Our campers come from across the U.S.A. and internationally to be with us in the summer. Camp Sequoia has been featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper as well as various online publications. The Mainstreaming-At-Camp (MAC) Program , offered through YAI/National Institute for people with Disabilities’ Clinical and Family Services Department provides children and young adults with developmental and learning disabilities a fantastic summer experience in traditional camp settings.
YAI’s partnerships with two of the leading YMCA summer camps in the northeast enable us to provide a fun and unique summer camp experience in an *inclusive*, residential setting. Rather than segregate individuals with disabilities from their typically developing peers, MAC offers a camping experience within traditional summer camps to foster YAI/NIPD’s goals of inclusion and independence. In the course of our partnership, the program also promotes acceptance of diversity within the entire camp community by providing typically developing campers with a new awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities. The Watson Institute Summer Program, Camp WISP, is an inclusive therapeutic summer camp program for children with autism and related disorders.

Camphill Special School is a nonprofit Pennsylvania Approved Private School and Waldorf school that offers day and residential programs for children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Specialized group therapy prgram servicing children and adolescents with ASD. Groups focus on improving and practicing social skills, play skills, life skills, communication skills.... Offers Preschool, afterschool, and summer camp programs.

Children's Choices will be offering two sessions of programming during the summer months of 2006. All programs will run both a session I and II camp to ensure opportunities for a multitude of ages.

Community Psychiatric Centers is a full-service mental health agency, owned and operated by Dr. Robert A. Lowenstein, M.D. and Dr. John Carosso, Psy.D., with offices in Monroeville, East Liberty, Mt. Lebanon, Greensburg, New Kensington, Monessen, and Leechburg, and Carmichaels. C.P.C. offers wraparound services with a specialization in treating children in the autism spectrum, as well as outpatient counseling and medication management.

I am providing a 6 week camp to children with autistic spectrum disorder. The camp is being held at a local pre-school, privately owned and insured. I am a certified educator, with specific training in autism. I will be providing instruction, fun activities, socialization, life skills, arts, music and fun! TSS are welcome to join the child. Hours are 10 am-3 pm, with before and after camp care available by an attached, licensed day care.

Easter Seal Central PA provides a completely loanable library of books, videos and toys for people living with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The center includes internet-enabled computers and a make and take communication board station. The center also features telepresence service to meet with leading experts in research and treatment from around the globe.
