Pine Grove, Inc. has provided comprehensive residential and educational care for Autistic children and adolescents since 1970. Children and adolescents considered for placement will have a primary diagnosis which falls within the DSM-IV-TR category of Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Highly individualized treatment plans focus on receptive and expressive communication skills, behavior management, daily living skills and interpersonal relationships. Psychological services, speech/language therapy, pre-vocational therapy and educational services are tailored to meet individual needs and treatment objectives. The 40 acre campus is located 15 miles north of Columbia, SC. The rural setting offers numerous opportunities for recreational, vocational and educational activities.
