As an autism consultant, I specialize in positive behavioral support as well as apply behavior analysis into do-able interventions. Oftentimes, family members coast through the easy years of autism and wait until the difficult adolescent years to act. An autism consultant should be the first step in formatting the big picture for the future. Families need someone that can give them critical, objective and accurate information. An autism consultant is able to help these families with solutions and putting in place a do-able intervention.

This ensures that every child, regardless of the degree of his or her medical needs, will be able to participate in all programs. This is also done indirectly by training potential care-providers at all levels - teens through professionals - in order to support families in the care of their children.
