Dr. Ho is a licensed psychologist with her background as a speech therapist. She is a provider of the Developmental-Individual difference-Relationship-based (DIR) Floor Time therapy with advanced certificate training. Dr. Carol Zuccone is a licensed psychologist in private practice and Director of the Irlen® Clinic-Houston/Central Texas. She earned a doctorate in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Houston in 1984. Dr. Zuccone has a 30-year career in education and psychology specializing in the needs of exceptional learners and their families. Through her practice, she provides academic and personality assessment and psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Zuccone and her husband Dominic Zuccone pioneered the Irlen® Process in Texas in 1988. She offers certified Irlen® screener training workshops around the state and is responsible for recognition of the need for screening programs in the schools to support reading development. Her clinics in Houston and Austin provide testing for Irlen® Syndrome/Scotopic Sensitivity and effective remediation with Irlen® Spectral Filter Overlays and Irlen® Spectral Lenses.

Parent training & family support is a critical element of any child's individualized education plan. With limited resources, it is vital that the treatment used is easy to implement and readily usable in home and community settings. Principles of behavior analysis are becoming more recognized in literature, media, and legislation as the most effective way to teach children diagnosed with autism and other severe handicaps.

The DFW Center for Autism is now scheduling its Family Support Courses for June, July & August. The courses may be GROUP course with up to 4 families participating, or INDIVIDUAL courses with just one family and whomever else they want to participate.

All of our Family Support Courses include workshop-style lessons and video taped examples. Families, caregivers, teachers and professionals will also participate in guided practice with session by session feedback. The DFW Center for Autism does have video cameras available to checkout.

Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist who specializes in evaluations and assessments to diagnose children and adults with autism, asperger's and pervasive developmental disorders.

An initial 15-minute phone consultation is offered free of charge in order to determine if Dr. Sirbasku is an appropriate referral for your current concern. Dr. Sirbasku does not currently accept insurance as payment; however, she will help the client complete the needed paperwork to access out of network benefits, if these are available to the client and the client provides written consent. Fees can be discussed with Dr. Sirbasku on the phone prior to the first office appointment.
