Since its establishment, the school provides students with intensive treatment that helps them with valuable skills, such as language and social interaction. Because we realize that autism not only affects the child, but also the child's family, parental support is available to help parents communicate more effectively with their child. Education is a vital component of our preparation and training of our faculty and staff. Our education director is equipped with a doctorate; our program directors all hold master's degrees. Our teachers and aids undergo intensive training and all have bachelor's degree and/or master's in education or behavioral science. Our clinical consultant holds a doctorate and is a behavioral specialist at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. |
