Ed has over 20 years of teaching, clinical, and administrative experience in the field of special education. In addition to his public school teaching and administrative experience, he has worked for community mental health facilities as a clinician and consultant. Ed's experience is complemented by his parenting experience with six children and numerous foster children with special needs.

While we are a small part of the Vermont Department of Health, we provide a large selection of services to children who have complex health conditions and to their families. By "children" we mean Vermont residents, birth to age 21. A child's eligibility for a specific program may depend upon a number of factors. If you have any questions at all, please contact us. Maple Leaf Clinic is also proud to sponsor Camp Maple Leaf, a weeklong summer and winter camp that caters to the social needs of campers with Nonverbal Learning Disabilities, Asperger Syndrome, and High Functioning Autism.

Social Thinking Groups are offered throughout the school year and Camp Compass- for development of social thinking is offered every summer.

Social Thinking Assessments are also offered to identify specific social cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and to help tailor instruction to individual needs.
