A.P.P.L.E. Consulting provides educational and behavioral intervention services to children with autism and related disorders across the educational age span (ages 1-21). Our flexible service model allowsfamilies to choose services that fit their lifestyle and budget - from a consulting model to a fully-equipped full-service model of consultants, program managers, and fully-trained tutors. With behavior analysis as our foundation and evidence-based methods as our toolbox, A.P.P.L.E. Consulting provides state-of-the-art intervention to allow our students to reach their full potential. Something different: I am an autistic adult who works with autistic children on play skills and self advocacy, regardless of apparent communication level. Through a stepwise process the child and I can work with the family to improve communication that works FOR the child. Play skills, turn taking, IEP support, babysitting/respite, and some academic tutoring (depending on subject) are also available.

I also do the speaking gig thing, as requested. Topics include self advocacy, growing up autistic, a sensory integration simulation, and others.

The Autism Society of Washington is a non-profit organization that provides resources and referrals as well as advocacy for children and adults on the spectrum and their families, as well as professionals who work with them. We link with individuals, families, educators, physicians, law enforcement and other first responders and community members to improve awareness of autism issues and advocate for better services and supports in our state that assist individuals with being welcomed, productive members of their community. We also sponsor an annual conference bringing speakers from around the country to share their knowledge and information.

Children's Communication Corner, Inc. provides individual diagnostic, treatment, and consultative services for children birth to adolesence with speech, language, language learing, motor speech, and social communication skills for children with a variety of special needs.

We also provide social skills groups for children ages 3-12 which are co-taught by a Speech Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist to best meet our clients social needs.

HILD best serves students who are challenged by:Immature neurological development which affects organization of time and space, processing of information, and behavior.

Chrysalis Behavioral Consulting provides early intervention services services to children with autism and other related disorders. Services include supervising in-home educational programs, consulting with school based programs, providing parent coaching, potty training, facilitating peer playdates, and much more. Laurelin Duckett is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with experience in discrete trial training, the Early Start Denver Model, SCERTS, PECS, and several other behavioral and play-based interventions. With years of experience as a special eduacation teacher, Laurelin is also very familiar with the educational system and educational support. Chrysalis specializes in working with children from birth to age 6.

I provide mental health counseling and consultation services for individuals who have Autism or Asperger's Syndrome.

We are dedicated to ensuring all children with autism and related developmental disorders have the opportunity to reach their full potential through effective behavioral intervention programs.

The Family Educator Partnership Project (FEPP) is funded by the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. Our purpose is to help create partnerships between families, educators and community agencies to support children and youth that need special education services. Family educator partnerships are changing the ways that families and educators work together to ensure educational success for children with disabilities.

Our Partnership Team Training promotes strong-shared leadership within a school district to bring a positive, proactive approach to planning services for children with disabilities. These teams commonly include parents, the special education director, teachers, para-educators, general education staff, community representative and others. This training is offered regionally.

The following examples highlight some of the initial activities of the partnership teams that have participated in the training.

Extensive experience with Verbal/Non-verbal populations on the spectrum, and across cultures. Treatment interventions include empirically supported strategies of Discrete Trial Training, Incidental Naturalistic Learning Opportunities and Positive Behavioral Modification Support. I implement a highly structured, 1:1 learning intensive to help strengthen skills in: language (expressive and receptive), visual perception, communication, academics, play, fine and large motor skills, imitation, self-help and social-emotional regulation in sessions and generalizing across environments. Treatment plans and program goals modified periodically per directives of family and professional team members. Equine Facilitated Learning sessions (mounted or unmounted activities) available upon request.
