The All Our Children Center is funded by a United States Department of Education Grant. The spacious center serves the Northeast Washington area and is located within the district headquarters of the Riverside School District. It is staffed by parent mentors, trained in conflict resolution and information technology, who have children with special needs. It is equipped with computers, video equipment, a short-stay child care area and a lending library. The center offers parent education, referrals to professionals and organizations, assistance in accessing and qualifying for services, outreach, story theatre and mediation. |
