My son is five years old and is diagnosed with Autism. We have been to MANY other facilities for outpatient therapy all over the Pittsburgh area before finding Aspire. The therapists at Aspire truly care about our kids and our families. You can be as involved in your child's therapy that you want to (no more sitting in the waiting room wondering what is going on with your child and not being taught how to help him/her yourself). They expain what they are doing, why they are doing it, and how you can do it. They respect the parents as we are the experts of our children. They are receptive to your input and learning new things/styles/protocols if you ask them to look into it or as a new direction to go in. The are NOT about professional egos. They are about families, treating each child and family individually to help them acheive their maximum functional capacities. They are advocates who fight for the insurance companies for the rights of our kids. I can't say enough about this business and the people who own it and work for it. They are truly the cream of the crop in the entire Pittsburgh area!! The only thing left to say is that I am TRULY GREATFULL to the people of Aspire Pediatrics for the HUGE difference that they have made in my son's and our family's lives!!! :)

My son has been receiving occupational therapy out of their McKees Rocks office for approximately 6 months now. The thing I like most about this office is that it is in a renovated home. When we get their we walk into a "waiting room" that was formerly a living room, and he has therapy in a room that was formerly a bedroom. This is important because most other places that you can receive therapy in are medical settings and sometimes my son becomes very upset in medical settings. It is comforting for him to go to a more homelike setting.
