Aditi Silverstein, MA, CCC-SLP is the Founder and President of Center for Rehabilitation and Development, offering Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapy in Virginia, USA. She is also the owner of Innovative Therapies, PC, an international company that provides Fast ForWord locally and in Europe. Ms. Silverstein has been a practicing Speech/Language Pathologist for 30 years and has specialized in the treatment of Auditory Processing Deficits for the past 14 years. She is an authorized provider of the family of Fast ForWord Programs, Sensory Integration Training for Communication (Auditory Integration Training), SAMONAS Sound Therapy, The Listening Program, and Interactive Metronome.

Ms. Silverstein has presented trainings and seminars on Auditory and Language Processing and its treatments locally and internationally throughout the United Kingdom, Austria, Dubai and Saudi Arabia, and regularly travels to the UK where she has been providing evaluations, consultations and treatment for ten years. She is now training professionals in the UK to provide Fast ForWord locally.

Tutoring

We specialize home modifications for people with disabilities such as installation of ramps and lifts, grab bars or handrails, widened doorways, etc.

There are a number of services that I provide including functional assessment of problematic behavior and development of behavior treatment plans, home program coordination, home program and classroom collaboration, and staff and parent training. In addition, if a parent or school is interested in implementing some of the many exciting technologies that have been developed within the field of applied behavior analysis (including activity schedules, video modeling, mand training) I will lead training workshops in those areas and follow up with observations and supervision. I have been a BCBA since 2003. I am also an advanced doctoral student in a graduate psychology program in learning processes (The Graduate Center, CUNY) and anticipate earning my doctorate by late 2007. I am a published researcher and co-editor of Autism Spectrum Disorders: Applied Behavior Analysis, Evidence, & Practice (Austin, TX: Proed inc, 2006) which will be published later this year. I have an extensive background working with children ages 2-15 with a wide range of learning disabilities and behavior excesses. I am strongly committed to improving the quality of life for these learners and am bound by not only the American Psychological Association’s ethics code but by the Behavior Analyst Certification Boards “Guidelines for Responsible Conduct”.

Dentist

Ages served: 21 and up; This camp offers a specialized program; Day services.

This is geared for folks approx 20-30 years old with Autism /Aspergers. Jocelyn Lister will be the facilitator. Jocelyn is an experienced speech pathologist and former Spec. Ed. director.

Need dentists for students at high school level that are over the age of 18.This particular student is low functioning, without any acting out behaviors, but needs a special touch.

Meets every month in the Claremont area. Meeting locations are rotated.
